2024年2月22日、PlayStationが公式ブログ上でPS VR2向けの新作タイトルのいくつかを紹介しました。このブログの中で、ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメント(SIE)のシニアスペシャリストコンテンツコミュニケーションであるGillen McAllister氏が、「また、PS VR2をお持ちの皆さんには、PlayStation 5でお楽しみいただけるPS VR2タイトルに加え、より幅広いゲームをPCでもお楽しみいただけるよう、現在機能のテストを実施しております。年内には対応を実現したいと考えておりますので、続報をお待ちください」と記し、PS VR2のPCサポートを計画していることを明かしました。
